Anne of Green Gables was not a real person.
However, in a strange po-mo way, she has left as much of a trace of her non-existent time here on Earth as any mere mortal.
Here's her barn, for example.
Let's not fight the trend.
The Anne of Green Gables stories by Lucy Maud Montgomery introduced us all to PEI - those of us not fortunate enough to live there.
Prince Edward Island is small. Get there and all signs will point to Anne.
Beware the ghosts of freckle-faced red-headed impish scallywag orphan girls.
Haven't been to the museum, but I will next time I visit PEI. The island is beautiful and calm.
